Spring/Summer Youth Rugby Program - 2025

The Wrentham Youth Rugby program is for boys and girls from kindergarten through 12th grade in all surrounding towns in MA/RI.  We are especially excited about continuing to grow the number of girls in our program and welcome all players to come to a practice to give it a try and learn about the game.  

Registration for the Spring/Summer season for K through grade 12 is now open.  Please note - different start dates for different ages.
    • K through 2nd grade practices are held on Sunday mornings from 9AM to 10AM.  First practice is April 6th.
    • 3rd through 6th grade practices will run from 9AM to 10:30AM on Sunday mornings and beginning in June we will add 6:30PM - 7:30PM on Thursday evenings.  First practice is May 4th.  
    • 7th through 12th grade practices will run from 10:00am to 12pm on Sunday mornings and 5:30PM - 7PM on Thursday evenings. First practice will be on March 27th.

*Registration stays open all season and new players are always encouraged to come and join the team.

We play at the Rice Complex on Emerald Street, on the fields located behind the basketball courts.  


Registration for the season will be in two parts:

The first part is registering through Wrentham Recreation by creating an account and registering your player through the town. Registration for 3rd through 12th graders through Wrentham Recreation will be $175.  Registration for K-2nd will be $120.

The second part will be completed through Rugby Xplorer website to complete registration for MA Youth Rugby Organization and USA Rugby:

On Rugby Xplorer, you will need to click on “Login” to verify/create account, and then search for “Wrentham Barbarians” to register for the club, following all prompts.

The cost for USA Rugby membership is as follows:  
          Gr K - 6          Rookie Rugby Player       $30.00
          Gr 7 - 8          Youth Player                     $55.00
          Gr 9 - 12        High School Player          $55.00
